Dizkover is an open social network platform unlike Facebook. Why we decided to make it open? As our site name implies, we help people "discover" new people. If your profile is private, then people won't discover you.
But you can hide your Snapchat, Kik, Skype and BBM usernames from other members. We understand that some of you don't want random people just adding you on Snapchat or Kik.
To hide your usernames from other people, just set "Who can see my usernames" to "Only People I Follow" when you setup your chat profile. This means, your usernames will only be visible to Dizkover members you follow.
When a Dizkover member follows you, you will get a notification here and on your email. Just check that member's profile whether you want to follow back. When you decide to follow back, that member will be able to see your usernames.
