You have a couple of options when setting up your email accounts on an iPhone or iPad: Fetch and Push. While Push is only available to more modern email accounts like Gmail, most of us have at least one account that can utilize this email service.
Obviously, fetch would require more energy as your system does the work. In push, your system only have to wait to receive emails. I think this is common sense.
Just put your self like the system, would you rather go to the mail center and get your mail or let the mailman go to you.!?
