Musk said:

"Nothing can be further from the truth," he said, citing that the average rate of fires in gasoline cars in one in every 1,300 vehicles compared to Tesla's track record of one for every 8,000.

True but he is leaving out the most critical data and he should know it better. Yes 1 gasoline car catch fire in every 1300 vehicles on the road but how many of them are less than a year old cars catching fire while going over the road debris?

He doesn't want a recall because he knows the stock will plummet back to 40!!!
