Rob Lowe has just joined the cast of Super Troopers 2, the sequel to 2001’s bumbling cop comedy Super Troopers. Production on the film began in Boston last week. Lowe, fresh from his Comedy Central roast, will play Guy Le Franc, a former hockey player and the current mayor of a Quebec Canadian border town.
Oh shit! This is gonna be gold because Canada!

Rob Lowe will make this sequel better
He seems like the type of actor who chooses his roles based on how much fun he can have doing them. It reflects in his performances and really makes watching him go enjoyable.
