I look for a lot of things... A spark, of course. A good (and weird) sense of humor to match my own. Honesty and loyalty are a must. Secrets are just awful and can sour a relationship. Respect is a major thing to have in a relationship... These days I trust my gut. When a guy starts out the conversation with, "Hey cutie," or any other nickname, I tend to just ignore them. Nicknames need to be earned, IMHO. Sending unsolicited n-des, or asking for pics right off the bat are bad, too. But hey, to each their own. I'm just one woman out of many. My opinions may not reflect the general consensus.
